Jen Psaki, White House Press Secretary confirmed President Biden’s campaign pledge to nominate a black woman for the Supreme Court.
The confirmation comes as the media announced news of Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer’s retirement.
“The president has stated and reiterated his commitment to nominating a black woman to the Supreme Court and certainly stands by that,” Psaki said at a press briefing Wednesday.
Biden made it clear during his campaign that any Supreme Court nominee would be selected solely on the basis of their race and gender.
“We talked about the Supreme Court — I’m looking forward to making sure there’s a black woman on the Supreme Court to make sure we in fact get everyone represented,” the President said at the time.

Black Woman at the Supreme Court
Nominating any woman from any race, whether black or white, to the Supreme Court is fine.

However, it is possible to imagine yourself being nominated to serve on the highest court. You will have to work hard all your life in order to achieve your goals.
Talk about reducing somebody’s worth based on identity politics.
“Everyone should be represented,” Biden had said prior to becoming the Democrat nominee in 2020.
“The fact is, what we should be doing — we talked about the Supreme Court. I’m looking forward to making sure there’s a black woman on the Supreme Court to make sure we in fact get every representation,” he added. “Not a joke.”
That “not a joke” bit is pretty strange.
“I’ll appoint the first Black woman to the Court. It’s required that they have representation now — it’s long overdue.”

Tucker Carlson of Fox News pointed out the absurdity in what Biden now believes he can do.
“All he said was she’s going to be black and she’s going to be female, because to him, that’s all that mattered,” Carlson stated. “You almost got the impression that Joe Biden believes all black women are the same. They’re identical.”
He went on to address Biden’s comments that the Supreme Court needs a black woman on the bench so as to “look like the country.”
“So, Biden will nominate a black woman. Great, she’ll represent about seven percent of the population. But where’s Biden’s Pacific Islander nominee?” Carlson asked.
“And why isn’t there an American Indian on the court, or a genderqueer, or someone from the chronic fatigue syndrome community, or a justice with cognitive disabilities? Why isn’t there an Afghan refugee under consideration?” the Fox News host continued.
It’s absurd but no more absurd than what Biden is actually doing.

Biden – Bowing To The Left
One man never prostituted himself before to the far right, even while he held the highest office in America as Joe Biden.
In his desperate attempt to defeat Donald Trump, he bid to Jim Clyburn (D.SC), to secure his endorsement and to turn his campaign around.
A Fox News report indicates Clyburn, during a break in a presidential debate, threatened to withhold his endorsement if Biden didn’t specifically mention a promise to nominate a black woman to the Supreme Court.
“Don’t you dare leave this stage without doing it,” Clyburn allegedly said.
Biden bent his knee and Clyburn supported him. The rest is history.
this is an amazing piece of reporting — @amieparnes, co-author of the new book ‘Lucky’, tells @BakerMachado about the moment where a pre-endorsement James Clyburn found Joe Biden *in the middle of a debate* to compel him to publicly pledge to name a Black woman to the SCOTUS: pic.twitter.com/jEROfZb3wn

Even before Biden’s inauguration, progressive groups were pressuring Supreme Court Justice Breyer into retirement, so Biden and a Democrat majority could replace him with a black woman.
Politico reported well over a year ago that a group known as Demand Justice was praising Breyer’s service, but they’ve “encouraged him to make way for a younger liberal replacement and to do it early in Joe Biden’s first term.”
“History will remember him even more fondly if he ends up playing a critical role in ensuring the appointment of the first black woman to the Court,” the group said in a statement.
“Timing his retirement in the coming year would guarantee that opportunity.”
We are here. Biden will now have to perform their duties.

Interestingly enough, Jonathan Turley, a law professor at George Washington University, believes Biden’s pledge to nominate a black woman to the Supreme Court based solely on her identity is ironic, as well as unconstitutional according to … the Supreme Court.
“What Biden was declaring,” Turley said of his campaign promise, “would effectively constitute discrimination in admission to the Supreme Court.”
“Indeed, the Supreme Court has declared that such race or gender conditions are strictly unconstitutional for admission to public colleges,” he pointed out.
“In the name of diversity, Biden embraces discrimination,” he wrote.
In Turley’s column, Turley discusses how the Supreme Court denounced these rationalizations of minority groups as harmful in affirmative action cases.
“Preferential programs may only reinforce common stereotypes holding that certain groups are unable to achieve success without special protection based on a factor having no relationship to individual worth,” they wrote.
To whomever he might choose to be Supreme Court nominee, that is precisely what President Biden has indicated.
Your individual merits and personal worth are irrelevant. The only thing that has made you this honored is your race or gender. Your intelligence, your experience, your legal expertise – meaningless.
