Fox News anchor and host Chris Wallace, who has been with Fox News for many years, announced that he was leaving on Sunday.
He said, “After 18 Years, this is my last Fox News Sunday.”

CNN was his next move, and it wasn’t long before it became a known fact. announcedWallace will join the network’s streaming platform, CNN+. (Disclosure – I frequently appear on Fox News and have also appeared several times on CNN.
Wallace is a respected interviewer who has an excellent reputation for being objective. He was equally tough on Republicans and Democrats. This became evident when Wallace moderated a debate between Donald Trump’s challenger Joe Biden during the 2020 presidential election. Wallace quizzed Trump about his reluctance to condemn the Proud Boy and criticised him for interrupting his opponent. This earned Wallace considerable ire from the MAGA wing of the GOP, and the tone of his coverage was increasingly out of step with Fox’s openly opinionated—and relentlessly pro-Trump—evening hosts.
Wallace, along with fellow Fox News anchor Bret Baier, had complained recently to Fox management over the network’s pro Trump programming. Jonah Goldberg and Steve Hayes, both conservative commentators, resigned recently in protest at Tucker Carlson’s actions. Patriot Purge Series about January 6, Capitol Riot. NPR
Five people who have direct knowledge of the matter say that resignations are a sign of greater turmoil within Fox News regarding Carlson’s series. Patriot Purge and his increasingly strident stances, and over the network’s willingness to let its opinion stars make false, paranoid claims against President Biden, his administration and his supporters.
Fox News Media’s veteran news personalities, such as Chris Wallace and Baier, raised objections to Suzanne Scott, Fox News Media CEO, and Jay Wallace, its president of news. These objections were raised to Lachlan Murphy, chairman and CEO at Fox Corp, which is the parent company of Fox News Media. Scott and Wallace refused to comment through a senior spokesperson. Murdoch declined to comment on a request by a spokesman. A Fox News senior executive stated that the contracts of two contributing writers would not be renewed after they expire next year.
Goldberg said that Fox News leaders had assured him that Trump would leave Washington, D.C. after his defeat in the election. The network would then reduce hate speech and other claims.
Wallace was not forgotten in Trump-world. The announcement of Wallace’s departure caused the hashtag “goodbye” to become a trending topic on Twitter. Although Fox’s loss is CNN’s gain, it is clear that such sorting ultimately leads to each network becoming more partisan. You can’t be pro-Trumpmp to work for Fox, but you must be anti-Trumpmp to work elsewhere. This silo effect produces commentary that appeals to one side or another. There is very little interaction between ideologies on cable news. The host usually invites guests to his or her programs, particularly for evening shows. What Wallace did—ask tough questions of Republicans on a Republican-leaning channel—is increasingly rare, at least on television.
Rep. Lauren Boebert (R–Colo.) Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) recently complained that “365,348 kids went missing in 2020.”
365,348 children went missing in 2020.
It has not been mentioned in the media.
It is a problem that exists.
— Lauren Boebert (@laurenboebert) December 12, 2021
This claim, however, is totally false. It’s more than the spelling.
There were 365,348 people in 2020 Reports The FBI reports that there have been over 400,000 missing children. However, most children who are reported missing don’t really go astray and return to their families safely. Most of the missing juveniles are actually runaways. Among the subgroup of reported kidnappings, most are perpetrated by parents or other family members involved in custody disputes. Abducting a child by a stranger is rare. According to Reuters in 2010, less than 350 persons under 21 years old were abducted each year.
Boebert was wrong. Regularly report on child abductions—if it bleeds, it leads—probably making them seem more common than they are. This “enlies” the real problem.
Americans who are tired of inflation don’t like the way President Joe Biden handles it. According to USA Today:
As inflation continues to surge in the United States, Americans have named it their top concern, surpassing the pandemic. The poll found that 28% of Americans approved of Biden’s handling of inflation, while a majority of Americans, at 69%, disapproved.
Biden has also seen a drop in approval rates in his handling of the economic recovery, with 41% of Americans approving his handling in December, compared to 47% back in October. Biden’s economic handling was criticized by a higher percentage. Fivety-seven per cent of Americans polled disapproved of Biden’s handling of the economy, as compared with 53% who did so in October.
With a margin for error of 5%, the poll was carried out among an anonymous sample of 524 Americans between Dec. 10-11.
