Repair Shop Owner Who Serviced Hunter Biden’s Laptop Files Lawsuit Against Adam Schiff, CNN

John Paul Mac Isaac, the former owner of a computer repair shop in Wilmington, Delaware where Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop was dropped off in 2019, has filed a lawsuit against far-left Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff, CNN, the Daily Beast, and Politico.

This multimillion-dollar lawsuit was brought in defamation against Mac Isaac, Maryland. It claims that Mac Isaac falsely claimed that he had been selling Russian disinformation.

After being allegedly called a hacker via social media, the shop owner claimed he was forced to close his doors and faced threats and vandalism.

The New York Post, which originally reported on the Hunter Biden laptop but was censored in part due to claims the information was obtained through ‘hacked materials,’ describes Mac Isaac’s lawsuit as a means of “fighting back… against Big Tech” and “the media.”

“After fighting to reveal the truth, all I want now is for the rest of the country to know that there was a collective and orchestrated effort by social and mainstream media to block a real story with real consequences for the nation,” he told the Post.

Fight Back Against Fake News

John Paul Mac Isaac contends that a coordinated smear campaign by the media, intelligence officials, and Democrat Representative Adam Schiff to label the Hunter Biden laptop “Russian disinformation” ruined his life.

“This was collusion led by 51 former pillars in the intelligence community and backed by words and actions of a politically motivated DOJ and FBI,” he told the Post. “I want this lawsuit to reveal that collusion and more importantly, who gave the marching orders.”

In a letter signed by over 50 intelligence officials published just weeks before the election, the authors admitted they “do not know if the emails [on Hunter Biden’s laptop] … are genuine” and that they “do not have evidence of Russian involvement.”

The letter was published regardless of the fact that they had a feeling.

Then-candidate and father to Hunter, President Joe Biden, used the letter during a debate to downplay the fact that the laptop was indeed his son’s.

In the final presidential debate between him and Trump, President Biden was asked by his opponent about “the laptop from hell.”

“There are 50 former national intelligence folks who said that what he’s accusing me of is a Russian plant,” Biden shot back. “They have said that this has all the … five former heads of the CIA, both parties, say what he’s saying is a bunch of garbage.”

Biden’s comments were a ‘baseless lie’ according to former Attorney General Bill Barr, who said in a recent interview he was “disturbed” to see him push the false claim.

“I was very disturbed during the debate when candidate Biden lied to the American people about the laptop,” Barr told Fox News anchor John Roberts.

“He [was] squarely confronted with the laptop and suggested it was Russian disinformation and pointed to the letter written by intelligence people, it was baseless, which he knew was a lie, and I was shocked by that,” Barr continued.

Suing Schiff CNN

The former owner of the repair shop that revealed Hunter Biden’s laptop debunks any notion that the material was somehow hacked, saying he legally owned it once the laptop had not been claimed.

Mac Isaac said that he gave a copy the hard drive to the FBI in December 2019, which apparently languished before Rudy Giuliani, then a Trump lawyer, received a similar copy.

From there he told the Post that Schiff’s comments during a CNN interview had further damaged his reputation.

“We know that this whole smear on Joe Biden comes from the Kremlin,” Schiff told CNN leading up to the election. “That’s been clear for well over a year now that they’ve been pushing this false narrative about this vice president and his son.”

“Without any intel, the head of the intel committee decided to share with CNN and its viewers a complete and utter lie,” Mac Isaac said. “A lie issued in the protection of a preferred presidential candidate.”

Mac Isaac said he’d like to clear his name from false allegations of being a hacker or a Russian spy but hopes the lawsuit spurs further action into getting to the root of the coordinated ‘Russian disinformation’ claims.

“The fight to get to the bottom of who told everyone this was Russian disinformation is far more important for the nation than me clearing my name,” he said.

Last year, Mac Isaac sued Twitter for censoring Hunter Biden’s laptop story. However, he lost the case when it was revealed that he wasn’t named by the court as the one who handed over the material.
