William Shatner, the Star Trek actor, made it into space just 56 years ago, when he was first photographed as Captain James Tiberius Kirk. Blue Origin New Shepard rocket carried him and three passengers to space. They landed the capsule safely at an altitude of 341,434ft. Shatner said to Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos after his flight that “I wish I never recover”
