Igor Striz is the Czech Republic’s highest prosecutor. He warned those who support the Russian Federation’s aggression on Ukraine that they could be sentenced to up to three years imprisonment. Striz pointed to a Czech section that makes it illegal for the state to approve a crime or praise a criminal. Another that allows for imprisonment sentences for those who “publicly denial, question, approve or seek to justify Nazi, communist or any other genocide” is also mentioned by Striz.
