We started in Persuasion with clips from oral arguments. The first was the well-known “orthogonal” trade at 21.54. Briscoe v. Virginia (2010)—instructive, but also a bit amusing.
One student wanted to know if there were any funny exchanges or exchanges participants found amusing, regardless of whether they came from the Supreme Court, other courts, etc. None of them came to my mind but I wanted to share some with you guys, since others may be looking for such examples. If possible, please post your suggestions and include links to audio or video of oral arguments.
