David Lewis of the Bronx Supreme Court tossed the guilty verdicts against 133 defendants. This was in case in which Joseph Franco, an ex-detective with New York Police Department, testified. Franco is currently being indicted on 26 counts for felony perjury. The Brooklyn district attorney dismissed 93 cases that relied upon Franco’s testimony last year.
