Police in Sunrise have placed Sergeant. Christopher Pullease was placed on paid administrative leave at the Sunrise police department. He grabbed another officer in the throat, and then pushed her against a patrol vehicle. Pullease arrived at the scene and spoke with the man after several officers had taken a suspect into custody for aggravated assault. Although the audio was turned off by the police department, Chief Anthony Rosa stated that the words of the sergeant made matters worse. Pullease was holding pepper spray in one hand as he leaned forward into his patrol vehicle. The officer grabbed Pullease by the belt of his work jacket and pulled him away. Pullease grabbed the victim by her throat, and then shoved her into a police car. Pullease turned around and pointed at the officer, saying something to him.
