Biden: Year One

Nearly a year ago President Joe Biden pledged to “restore America’s soul”. The 46th President of the United States, Joe Biden, stressed that only unity could help the nation overcome the most difficult challenges. 

According to the most recent Gallup poll, Biden received very low approval ratings among Republicans, while Democrats have high approval ratings. Biden’s partisan approval gap was 83 percentage points– the largest gap ever recorded for the first year of a presidency. Biden’s campaign victory speech stated that he was proud to have won the election. It’s time for us to forget the harsh rhetoric and get back together. Biden’s first year in office was marked by unique challenges. This year was very much like 2020 because of the COVID-19 delta and omicron strains. Biden achieved his goal to give out 100,000,000 vaccinations in 100 days. However, as the vaccination rate stalled, Biden turned to authoritarian measuresPeople are forced to receive the vaccine.
