Police in Georgia have located the man accused of shooting dead a police officer. He has been taken into custody.
Dylan Harrison, 26-year old Alamo Police Officer, was killed in the attack. This was Harrison’s first day at work.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation reports that Harrison was shot at the Alamo station on Saturday around 1:10 AM.
Damian Ferguson, 43, who also uses the alias Luke Ferguson, was named as the primary suspect — but was not immediately apprehended and a manhunt ensued. GBI offered a $17500 reward to anyone who could help him.

U.S. authorities took Ferguson into custody Sunday. According to a tweet from, Ferguson was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Special Operations Group SWAT Team less than one-mile from Harrison’s shooting location. Georgia Department of Public Safety
Harrison just began working for the Alamo Police Department part time. Harrison was employed previously full-time in Eastmond by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Drug Task Force.
