Representative Lauren Boebert heckled President Biden during his State of the Union address, shouting “13 of them” when Biden mentioned soldiers coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan in coffins.
“Our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan faced many dangers,” the President stated, speaking of hazards involving “burn pits” that incinerate waste in war zones.
“When they came home, many of the world’s fittest and best-trained warriors were never the same. Headaches. Numbness. Dizziness,” he continued. “A cancer that would put them in a flag-draped coffin.”
Boebert chimed in noting that Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan resulted in 13 service members being killed by a suicide bomber.
“You put them in, 13 of them,” she shouted, referencing the coffins and eliciting a smattering of boos.
.@laurenboebert gives Biden a stern reminder of the 13 fallen American heroes who died during Biden’s disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal after he FAILS to even mention them at his #SOTU:

Judging from the video of Biden’s SOTU speech above, it doesn’t appear Senator Lindsey Graham was all too fond of Boebert’s outburst regarding the 13 dead service members.
It appears Graham (R-SC) muttered, “Shut up.”

But Boebert’s “13 of them” interruption wasn’t her only attempt to heckle President Biden.
She showed up to the speech sporting a “Drill Baby Drill” outfit, a reference to Biden’s insistence on making America less energy independent and creating a situation that has led to significant pain at the pump for all Americans.

At another point, she and colleague Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene started chanting “build the wall” when Biden began talking about another failure of his presidency – border security.
“We need to secure the border and fix the immigration system,” the President said despite no indication that he has the will or the plan to do either.
Biden: “If we are to advance liberty and justice, we need to secure the Border and fix the immigration system”
Both sides receive standing ovations

Another ‘Joe Wilson’ Moment
Boebert’s outburst was similar to that of Republican Congressman Joe Wilson (R-SC), who was admonished by the House after calling Obama a liar during a 2009 joint address to Congress.
Remember that time when Rep. Joe Wilson shouted “you lie” at Obama because he thought the Democrats wanted to give free healthcare to illegal immigrants? This happened in 2009.

Democrats won’t hesitate to demand that Boebert be removed from any assigned committee for his insolent remarks about the President.
Be aware that the President Biden did not mention Afghanistan’s disastrous withdrawal, for which he has no regrets.
“There is no way to get out of Afghanistan after 20 years easily. No matter what time it took, this is not possible. I make no apologies for what I did,” he said.

It is worth praising it at the largest speech of the year as an international policy win.
Biden last month rejected an Army report that revealed multiple commanders involved in the Afghanistan withdrawal gave sworn testimony indicating the administration failed to grasp the situation over the summer, putting American troops in greater danger.
The report, first brought to light by the Washington Post, revealed what they call “bleak, blunt assessments of top military commanders” in claiming White House officials “failed to grasp the Taliban’s steady advance on Afghanistan’s capital.”
On NBC, Biden repeatedly dismisses the Army’s report about the disastrous U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan —
Holt: “Are you rejecting the conclusions or the accounts…in this Army report?”
Biden: “Yes, I am.”
Holt: “So they’re not true?”

The Biden administration’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan led to a suicide bombing that killed 13 service members, a ‘retaliatory’ drone strike by the United States that killed 10 civilians – including an aid worker and 7 children – and countless Americans being left behind in the Taliban-controlled country for an extensive period of time.
Military officials, according to the Washington Post report, had “in many ways cobbled together on the fly” the evacuation plan.
“No, that’s not that I was told,” Biden told NBC’s Lester Holt. “There was no good time to get out, but if we had not gotten out, they acknowledged we would have had to put a hell of a lot more troops back in.”
Boebert is right to point out that 13 never returned home.
