Foot Voting, Migration, and Political Freedom”

American Enterprise Institute posted this video from a recent event where I was featured. Moving freely: Migration and Foot Voting. Commentary by Emily Hamilton (a prominent expert on housing policy) and Filipe Campante (an economist from Johns Hopkins University) were part of the event. Economist  Stan Veuger of AEI moderated.

Contrary to many other events about the book this event focused on my arguments for inner freedom of movement and not international migration. The discussion included a lot of detail about whether zoning reforms could improve foot voting chances and help increase US economic growth. Also, it was discussed how private planned communities such as HOAs might expand the options for foot voter or limit them.
