“The End, at Least Temporarily, of Privately Owned Ukrainian [TV] Outlets”

Volodymyr Zeleskiy, Ukrainian President, signed a decree combining all the national television channels on one platform. He cited the necessity of an “unified information policy” in martial law.

This move will see the closure of all privately-owned media outlets within Ukraine, at least temporarily. Zelensky said the move was necessary in order to fight alleged Russian misinformation.
