After an aide claimed that he took inappropriate photographs of a Nebraska senator without her permission and sent them to other people, a Nebraska state senator has now resigned. Mike Groene confessed to taking the photos, though he denied that any of them were sexual. Groene who will be leaving the legislature in next year due to term limits said he intends to resign so that his family is not affected. As he stated previously, he won’t run for the University of Nebraska Board of Regents this year.
