Anti-Trucker Canadian Politician Says ‘Honk Honk’ Is Code For ‘Heil Hitler’

Canadian Liberal Member of Parliament Ya’ara Saks, speaking before Parliament on Monday, claimed that the phrase “Honk Honk” is actually an acronym for “Heil Hitler.”

The phrase “Honk Honk” has been used online by supporters of the Canadian trucker Freedom Convoy, who used their horns as part of the protest effort.

This was done to show solidarity with truckers and not blow a horn. This became an increasingly popular hashtag in social media.

Saks attempted to depict the protesters, using gun-toting Nazis in her speech.

“How many guns need to be seized?” she asked. “How much vitriol do we have to see of ‘Honk Honk’ which is a new acronym for “Heil Hitler’?”

Honk Honk – Heil Hitler?

Astoundingly, Ya’ara Saks made her comments without a hint of irony in the backdrop of recent events where Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invoked the Emergencies Act to crack down on Canadian freedom protesters by essentially equating them to a terror group.

Truckers involved in the ‘Freedom Convoy’ protest against government overreach had their bank accounts frozen. Protest leaders were taken into custody.

These people have faced threats of seizing their cars, fines and revocations of their licenses. They have used children as pawns. Authorities have even threatened to seize truckers’ pets.

Watchers around the globe were horrified to see a video of an elderly woman and others being crushed by police horses.

The video also shows the police officer using it. butt of their gunTo corral protesters. Other officers demonstrate the use of repeated kneesTo an already-downed protester.

Saks might be accusing protesters of sending out signals, but it’s the Canadian government she may want to target her outrage towards for their own signals.

Ya’ara Saks comparing “Honk Honk” to “Heil Hitler” is simply following Trudeau’s lead if you break it down.

The Prime Minister compared a Jewish Conservative Party MP of standing “with people who wave swastikas” after she criticized him for “fanning flames of an unjustified emergency” over the ‘Freedom Convoy’ crackdown.

“Conservative Party members can stand with people who wave swastikas, they can stand with people who wave the confederate flag,” he reprimanded, citing alleged appearances of those flags in the convoy, though no attribution has been assigned to the owners.

Liberal politicians are not above using the tactic of falsely associating protesters with Nazis.

Saks comments are reminiscent to those made by Frank Figliuzzi, a top FBI official during Obama’s first term, who once claimed that former President Trump’s lowering of flags to half-staff to honor victims of shootings was a secret shoutout to White Supremacists and Nazis.

“The president says that we will fly our flags at half-mast until August  8, that’s 8/8,” Figliuzzi said at the time. “Now I’m not going to imply that he did this deliberately, but I am using it as an example of the ignorance of the adversary that’s being demonstrated by the White House.”

“The numbers 8/8 are very significant in the neo-Nazi and the white supremacy movement,” he continued. “Why? Because the letter ‘H’ is the eighth letter of the alphabet, and to them, the numbers 8/8 stand for ‘Heil Hitler.’”
