Trump Blasts Media For Not Covering Alleged Clinton Spying, Calls It ‘The Beginning Of Communism’

On Monday, former President Donald Trump attacked the media for not focusing on stories that made him feel good and vindicated.

Trump said he was “shocked and disgusted,” (but probably not surprised) that most major news outlets neglected to carry any stories about new details regarding Hillary Clinton and her failed presidential campaign trying to spy on the Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential election.

It’s beginning to dawn that the truth is out

During an interview with conservative radio host Michael Savage on Monday, Trump said of the mainstream media blackout of the story, “That to me is the beginning of communism, that’s how it all starts. That is the beginning of communism.”

John Durham is the Special Counsel and has been investigating possible connections to Russia in 2016.

So far the only person arrested for any involvement for possible Russian collusion is Hillary Clinton’s former campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann. He was accused of sharing federal data and lying to the FBI regarding the data.

Sussmann provided false information, including linking Trump Organization to Russian banks. The Clinton campaign used this to accuse Russia of having ties.

‘Worse Than Watergate’?

This former president had a lot to say about what was revealed.

“Can you imagine that, what should be the biggest story of our time, bigger than Watergate, is getting absolutely no mention, ZERO, in the New York Times, Washington Post, ABC Fake News, NBC Fake News, CBS Fake News, ratings-dead CNN, and MSDNC. This in itself is a scandal, the fact that a story so big, so powerful, and so important for the future of our Nation is getting zero coverage from LameStream, is being talked about all over the world. It shows how totally corrupt and shameless the media is.”

Documents filed by Durham on Friday also allege that Sussmann paid tech executives at an Internet company to essentially “infiltrate” servers at both Trump Tower and ultimately the White House.

The Media, Willing Acomplices

Trump speculated a bit on why the media did not want to touch the story, “The press is, I guess, afraid, you’ll tell me, afraid or they’re just bad news or they’re communists and they don’t want to write about it.”

Surprisingly though, multiple outlets did touch upon the topic after Trump expressed his anger at the lack of coverage. CNN New York TimesAnd the Washington PostAll stories covered one aspect of the story. However, many others tried to minimize the details in court filings.

Trump said, “The good news is that people are seeing it.”

The Fox News Channel’s Greg Gutfeld summed up the media’s avoidance, not only of such bombshell information about Hillary Clinton and her campaign, but also the fact that Donald Trump was proven right again.

“But there’s a reason why the press can’t cover this story. It is their responsibility to report the truth. It’s a lot of work. It’s the same reason we can’t get to the bottom of any of their claims because at the bottom is their own asinine complicity.”
