No one suffers from COVID-19’s stricter mitigation than young Americans, even though they are at far greater statistical risk. Abrams would be considered to have a greater risk of contracting the disease due to her weight and age. However, COVID-19 is unlikely to affect Abrams as she has been vaccinated. All across the country, adults are permitted to be unmasked in a variety of circumstances, but many schools—particularly public schools in areas controlled by Democrats—remain mask-militant.
It is possible to have concerns about forcing students to wear facemasks seven days a week for two years. This level of masking is not possible. Not Education quality can be affected by these factors. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention fear that children might find it more difficult to learn how to read if they are wearing masks. Masks can make it difficult for some students to comprehend their teachers.
Abrams spokesperson stated that she wore the mask to the event, and then removed it to defend her decision. Could be heard by students“Everyone around her was wearing facial-coverings,” (emphasis mine) – I watched remotely.
Abrams was furious at her critics who were focusing on the mask issue. She wrote in an Instagram post, “It’s shameful that our enemies are using a Black History Month Reading Event for Georgia Children as the impetus to a false political attack. It is pitiful that our opponents keep looking for opportunities to distract them from their failure records when it comes protecting public health during a pandemic.”
It’s the politicians and others who are hypocrites about COVID-19 mitigation that should be ashamed.
