48% Of Democrats Support Fines Or Prison Time For Those Questioning Vaccines

New polls show that 48 percent of Democrat voters favor fines and prison sentences for people who doubt the effectiveness of COVID vaccines. While 59 percent want the federal government to keep unvaccinated Americans in their own homes, only 49% support it.

“While many voters have become skeptical toward the federal government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a majority of Democrats embrace restrictive policies, including punitive measures against those who haven’t gotten the COVID-19 vaccine,” according to Rasmussen.

Survey results show that Democrats favour federal- or state-imposed sanctions (55-34%) as well home confinement (59-36%%) for those who are not vaccinated.

They also, by a 48 to 46 percent margin, support “a proposal for federal or state governments to fine or imprison individuals who publicly question the efficacy of the existing COVID-19 vaccines on social media, television, radio, or in online or digital publications.”

Fine Or Prison For Questioning Vaccines

Apart from supporting penalties or imprisonment time for vaccine questioners, Democrats are almost evenly divided (47-46%) when it comes down to the requirement that unvaccinated citizens use a wearable or smartphone app to track them in order to make sure they are socially excluded from other people.

Republican voters oppose the idea of imposing fines on unvaccinated Americans (75%-19%), keeping them in their own homes (79-19%) and putting those who doubt vaccine use behind bars (81-14%).

The Rasmussen poll also shows Democrats have a very favorable view (75%) of the Biden administration’s top infectious diseases expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and support the President’s vaccine mandate (78%) on employees of large companies and government agencies.

Last week, the Supreme Court blocked the mandate that large corporations receive vaccines. However, it allowed for a mandate that federally funded health care facilities must vaccinate all employees.

Forced vaccinations

The left’s support for forced behavior when it comes to the COVID-19 vaccines is startling, if not surprising, and is an affront to All Americans.

A New York Times report from July shows that those holding off on the vaccines aren’t simply white conservatives, as portrayed by the mainstream media, but also include a group that “tend to be a more diverse and urban … including many younger people, Black and Latino Americans, and Democrats.”

Rasmussen polls show that Democrats oppose this idea in general but are more inclined to back parents losing custody of their children if it is not vaccinated.

29% support the notion, while just 7% of Republicans and 11% who describe themselves politically as ‘other’ agree.

Not so long ago was the time when America’s political left claimed that it was fighting fascism under former President Donald Trump.

According to this poll, they have become a party which supports the suppression of any opposition to their ideology and beliefs. 

This is truly alarming, considering that they hold the majority of both Houses and are led by a White House which fully supports authoritarianism.
