SCOTUS Stays OSHA Vax-or-Test Rule, Allows CMS Vaccine Mandate for Health Care Workers to Take Effect

The Supreme Court released two opinions this afternoon addressing COVID-19 mandates of the Biden Administration.  In a vote of 3-1, NFIB. OSHAThe Court ruled that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Emergency Temporary Standard vax or-test rule was invalid for large employers. In spite of this, 5-4 votes were cast in favour. Biden v. MissouriCourt order to suspend lower court injunctions against Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services for vaccine mandate for Medicare/Medicaid service providers.
