Tennessee state Rep. Jeremy Fayette has apologized for rushing to the court of a high school basketball match and trying not to pants a referee. Faison, who is also the chairman of the state House Republican Caucus was expelled from the game. Faison was the father of a player on one team that competed. While he didn’t say what caused him to lose his temper, the video captures that the players tried to pick up a ball from the ref. Two of these players received penalties for their unsportsmanlike behaviour.
