Kamala Harris Equates January 6 To Pearl Harbor, 9/11 – Here’s Why That Is Insane

Vice President Kamala Harris, in a speech on the anniversary of the January 6 riot at the Capitol, compared the incident to other dates that “echo throughout history” such as Pearl Harbor and 9/11.

Actually, she didn’t compare the dates, she equated them.

“Certain dates echo throughout history, including dates that instantly remind all who have lived through them where they were, and what they were doing, when our democracy came under assault,” Harris said.

“Dates that occupy not only a place on our calendars but a place in our collective memory,” she continued. “December 7th, 1941. September 11th 2001. And January 6th, 2021.”

Kamala Harris: January 6, Just Like Pearl Harbor, 9/11

Kamala Harris’ comments actually echo the mass psychological trauma experienced by Democrats on that day. Psychological trauma that doesn’t nearly match what actually happened.

This is a false comparison and untruessing comments from someone holding the 2nd highest position in the United States Government.

Remember that five people were killed in the Capitol Riot, however Ashli Babbitt, an Air Force veteran who was an avid Trump supporter, was unarmed and only one of them was actually killed.

The deaths of three others, including Brian Sicknick (Capitol police officer) and one rioter due to drug overdose, were natural.

Kamala Harris wants you to believe that although only one person died on January 6, Kamala Harris believes it was still a tragic event, comparable in magnitude with historical tragedies such as Pearl Harbor or 9/11.

2400 Americans died and 1,178 others were injured in the surprise Japanese military attack at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

2.977 victims were killed and approximately 25,000 others were injured in the 9/11 terrorist attack.

The consequences of the attacks were devastating. Brown University’s project estimates that the United States suffered nearly 15,000 American deaths during wars in Afghanistan and Pakistan. This report includes nearly 507,000 casualties due to these wars.

5380 Americans died in those tragic events. On January 6th … 1.

Kamala Harris comparing the January 6th riot at the Capitol to Pearl Harbor and 9/11 isn’t the first instance of absolute hysteria on the left.

Last summer, Lincoln Project co-founder Steve Schmidt inexplicably claimed the riot was “profoundly more dangerous” than 9/11 and “likely to kill a lot more Americans.”

That … isn’t even vaguely accurate.

“The 1/6 attack for the future of the country is a profoundly more dangerous event than the 9/11 attacks,” Schmidt claimed.

“And in the end, the 1/6 attacks are likely to kill a lot more Americans than were killed in the 9/11 attacks which will include the casualties of the wars that lasted twenty years following it,” he added without evidence.

‘Never-Trump’ Representative Adam Kinzinger amped up the rhetoric recently insinuating his work on the select committee investigating the events of January 6 was similar to the way Todd Beamer and the passengers of Flight 93 fought back against terrorists on 9/11.

“People have to stand up and say this is wrong,” said Kinzinger (R-IL) in reference to those downplaying the former President’s role in the riot.

“We’ve got to – if you think about heroics on Flight 93 that saved the Capitol in 2001, it wasn’t Todd Beamer alone,” he continued. “It was everybody standing up and saying we’ve had enough. We’re going to sacrifice ourselves to do this …”

Comparing January 6 to 9/11, whether it’s low-lives like Kinzinger and Schmidt, or Vice President Kamala Harris, is reprehensible to the extreme.

You can see videos from the Pearl Harbor attack. You can also recall the September 11th attack against America. Watch videos showing mostly peaceful protestors at Capitol opposing certification of election.

Which are they different from each other?
