Maribel Duarte, a mother of a 13-year old boy, claims her son got COVID-19 vaccinations without her consent at Barack Obama Global Prep Academy Los Angeles. Duarte claims that her son was given pizza by school officials in exchange for being vaccinated. She also said that he would not tell. Los Angeles Unified School district said they could not comment but that steps have been taken to allow vaccinated students prizes. All students aged 12 or older must receive the vaccine before January 10. Students who have not been vaccinated by that date will be redirected to online learning.
