Bogus Subpoena Seeking Twitter Records

Megan Gray, an attorney whom I am very familiar with and who I have great trust in, passed on the purported Delaware Attorney General’s Office Subpoena to Twitter (with necessary redactions). The subpoena turned out to not have been signed by an attorney and was bogus. Although the AG office did not authorize it, the subpoena claims to have come from Delaware AG’s and is referring to an AG investigation.

It’s not surprising that this is the case, given all of the forgeries I have seen. Don’t assume that just because it claims to be a court or subpoena, or any other type of order, it means it is.
