Twitter was sent a purported subpoena from the Delaware Attorney General’s Office by a lawyer I trust very much. Evidently, the subpoena wasn’t signed, and it was also bogus. The AG’s Office didn’t authorize its issue.
It’s not surprising that this is the case, given all of the forgeries I have seen. Don’t assume that just because something is labeled as a court or subpoena, or any other type of contract, it means that it is.
