A police officer in Illinois has been accused of aggravated battery, and misconduct after attacking a student at West Proviso High school Hillside. The attack occurred while he was off duty as a security guard. The prosecution alleges that Eligah skinner entered the classroom to force the student off a whiteboard and slap him on his face. Skinner tried to explain that the student was allowed to use the whiteboard by his teacher. Skinner hit the student by throwing a water bottle, lotion and dodgeball at him. Skinner attempted to take another marker from the student by knocking out his marker. Officials claim that Skinner grabbed the student from the chair, lifted him up and hit him with his chest. Skinner then placed the student on a table and into desks before he finally fell to the ground. He put one knee on the chest of the boy and the other on his neck and torso.
