Norma Garcia Lopez-Lopez was the co-chairperson of Fort Worth Independent Schools District’s Racial Equity Committee. Garcia Lopez didxx several parents for challenging COVID-19 and speaking out against critical race theories. After a judge revoked the mask mandate, Garcia-Lopez stated that it was “astonishing” what the “White Privilege” power of Tanglewood can do to a diverse community who cares about others. Garcia-Lopez shared the information of parents, including their names and addresses as well, along with phone numbers and emails from employers. Garcia-Lopez left one parent a voicemail containing profanity for her.
