Brickbat: Block Heads – Opinion

After patrons refused to verify their COVID-19 certificates, police in Zermatt (Switzerland) placed concrete blocks at the Walliserkanne’s entrance. They show whether the person was vaccinated or received treatment for COVID-19, or if they have recently been negative. These individuals are not allowed to eat or drink in bars or restaurants within Switzerland. Experts say that the owners of these bars and restaurants could face a fine up to 10,000 Francs (11,000 U.S. dollars) for failing to check COVID-19 certificates.
