Two South Carolina women sued Chris Griffin, Sullivan’s Island Police Chief, alleging that he sent them a number of inappropriate, sexually explicit and racist images during a conference on law enforcement. Two women complained about the photos to Chris Griffin, the South Carolina Police Chiefs Association head. He revoked Griffin’s membership in the association and reported Griffin to Andy Benke, Sullivan’s Island Town Administrator. The lawsuit claims that Griffin was not dealt with by the town. Officials from the Town of Griffin refused to comment.
