Biden: Once Kids Get Vaccinated ‘Families Will Be Able To Sleep Easier At Night Knowing Their Kids Are Protected’

Joe Biden, President of the United States, promoted on Thursday his push to vacate children between five and eleven years old with COVID-19 vaccine. However, polls show that more than half of Americans don’t agree.

Biden said, “Now I know parents out there are anxiously waiting for a vaccine for children ages five to eleven. The good news is the FDA and outside experts from the CDC are set to make this determination as to whether the vaccine will be authorized for that age range in the next few weeks.”

Biden: Kids will be ‘able to sleep easier at night knowing their kids are protected’

“If authorized, we are ready,” Biden said. “We have purchased enough vaccines for all children, between the ages of 5 and 11, in the United States.”

That’s when the president added that he thinks parents will be at ease more after their small children are vaccinated.

“It will be convenient for parents to get their children vaccinated at trusted locations, and families will be able to sleep easier at night knowing their kids are protected,” Biden added.

Biden’s policies stand n stark contrast to those of the UK, where scientists are not backing vaccinations for those between 12 to 15 years old.

The BBC reported in early September, “The JCVI said children were at such a low risk from the virus that jabs would offer only a marginal benefit.”

“The decision not to recommend the vaccine to all healthy children was based on concern over A rare side effect to the Moderna or Pfizer vaccinations is heart inflammation., and can lead to palpitations and chest pain,” BBC reported.

Thew British news outlet added, “Data from the US, where millions of young teenagers have been vaccinated, suggests there are 60 cases of the heart condition for every million second doses given to 12 to 17-year-old boys (compared to eight in one million girls).”

Children are able to get vaccinations, however they are not compulsory.

Recent polls show that there are more divergent opinions about children and Covid vaccinations than what Biden claimed.

The CBS News/YouGov survey, which was taken between October 6-8, showed that 61% of unvaccinated parents opposed vaccinating their children aged 5-11.

61% of parents who had been vaccinated indicated they were willing to vaccinate their children at that age.

Polls show almost as many parents don’t want their kids vaccinated as those who do

Gallup Poll at the September end showed almost all parents (45 percent) opposed to vaccines for their children below 12.

The White House continues to move at full speed with its plans. Governors were told by the White House to expect their children to be vaccinated as early as age five.

NBC News reported. “The Biden administration has purchased 65 million pediatric doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine, enough to vaccinate the estimated 28 million children who would be eligible should the Food and Drug Administration approve Pfizer’s request to vaccinate children ages 5 to 11, said an official of the Department of Health and Human Services.”
