University of Colorado Hospital System Denies Woman’s Life-Saving Kidney Transplant; Will No Longer Provide Organ Transplants to Unvaccinated Patients

One of Colorado’s largest hospital systems has implemented a new policy that denies organ transplants to patients who have not taken the experimental Covid-19 vaccine under “almost all situations.”

Under the new policy all organ donors must also be vaccinated. It has already prevented one woman from getting the life-saving treatment that she needed.

Leilani Luteli was informed by the University of Colorado Health that she is now on the wait list for a transplant kidney. “inactivated” for “non-compliance”Because she chose not to get the shot. She had to give the shot within 30 days or she would be removed completely from the transplant waiting list.

Lutali Stage 5 kidney failure was told by the hospital in August that she wouldn’t need to be vaccinated to get her new kidney was only made aware of the hospital’s new segregation policy when she received her letter in the mail – and Only after she had found a donorShe was able to identify someone willing to donate her kidneys.

CBS4 Denver spoke with Lutali about the hospital’s policy and their reasoning behind foregoing the rushed vaccine, which she says has “too many unknowns.”

“I said I’ll sign a medical waiver. To be eligible for transplant, I must sign the waiver. This releases them from any possible problems.

It’s surgery, it’s invasive. A waiver is signed for the duration of my life. I’m not sure why I can’t sign a waiver for the Covid shot.”

They also spoke with her donor – Jaimee Fougner – who was outraged that the hospital could decide not to operate when there is a kidney available that will save her friend’s life.

Fougner, like Lutali is not also vaccinated.

“It’s your choice on what treatment you have. In Leilani’s case, the choice has been taken from her. This mandate has taken her life hostage.

This is me, ready to donate directly to her. The transplant does not have any effect on other patients. How can I sit here and allow them to murder my friend when I’ve got a perfectly good kidney and can save her life?”

University of Colorado Health (UCHealth), which manages a number of facilities and hospitals across the state, said Wednesday that they had confirmed the existing segregation policy. They claimed the move was necessary because transplant patients who catch Covid-19 are 20 times more likely to be killed.

How much more likely is it that they will die if they get Covid after a lifesaving transplant? Even if they don’t catch covid,

Higher than 20%, that’s for sure. Many people waiting on the list may be exempted from receiving the vaccine because of their medical condition.

The vaccine has such a poor track record of preventing new infections, the US government is poised to order a third booster shot. This will most likely be followed by six monthly perpetual doses. – Being vaccinated doesn’t even provide immunity (just check the CDC’s updated definition). Patients who are waiting to be vaccinated for organs will have a similar chance of developing a breakthrough condition after receiving them.

UCHealth doubled down in their refusal to perform on those who are not vaccinated. They stated that other hospitals have already placed vaccine mandates on patients and they continue to follow their example.

“In almost all situations, transplant patients and living donors are now required to be vaccinated against Covid-19 in addition to meeting other health requirements and receiving additional vaccinations.

Physicians must consider the short and long-term health risks for patients as they consider whether to recommend an organ transplant.”

The hospital’s policy has forced Lutali to search elsewhere for her operation. She has checked all Colorado surgery centers that would perform a transplant of kidneys and was told she cannot because she’s not vaccinated. Her search is on for a hospital willing to accept her.

Like Lutali’s donor said, her life is being held hostage over this vaccine mandate.

These policies will result in the death of many other people.

So much for that “if we save just one life” nonsense. This was not the case.
